Introduction
I will be posting information on the history of the Disneyland Hotel with this blog. The majority of items will involve materials prior to the Walt Disney Company purchasing and renovating the Disneyland Hotel. I want to show rare photographs, vintage souvenirs and special interest stories, news and events from the Hotel's rich past. I hope this brings back some great memories for you from wonderful stays at the World's Most Exciting Hotel!

Great site! Welcome to the blogosphere!
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging, Don. Good luck and have fun with it. I think people who haven't read your book (yet) will be pleasantly surprised to learn just how interesting a half-century-old hotel can be.
Thanks guys. Love your blogs too!! Now if I could just get used to inputting, sizing pics and placement of text, I would feel a lot more comfortable.
Hi Magic Hotel! Welcome! Great stuff so far. I have a few older DL hotel items, I can scan them and send them to you, just let me know. Again, welcome!
P.s. I linked your blog to mine, for you to do the same, go to "layout" in the custom blog settings, then you want to "add a page element", then chose "link List", from there you edit the element to add the links. For your first blog it looks great!
Vintage Tickets- I would love to see your scans! E-mail address is donballard@comcast.net. thanks a bunch and now I will work on linking your site.
Welcome to the Disney blog-o-sphere!

Welcome to fun (and sometimes crazy) world of blogging. I still owe you some stuff....
Nice to see another Disney blog come online! I have a vintage Disneyland Hotel nametag in my collection .. you can see it at http://www.nametagmuseum.com/dlhotel2.jpg
Would you happen to know when it was used? If you want, feel free to use the image here to document the Hotel's history.
Awesome.
I will add you to my links.
